Undergraduate Student Services & Academic Advising Our primary goal is to enhance the experience of the students in our College, and to maintain a high retention and graduation rate for all undergraduates in the Life Sciences. A key to student success frequent and accurate guidance with respect to degree requirements, what classes to take and when to take them, career opportunities, and other matters. We take great pride in making certain that our students meet often with advisors who can provide them with the information and guidance needed to make appropriate academic choices. We think of it as a "continuous interaction" that starts as early as the first term of study for our freshmen. We invite each member of our incoming class to take BIO 194 Freshman Seminar, to assist our students in making a smooth transition to a community of active learners.
