SoLS Facilities

The Greenhouse has the following areas available:

The School of Life Sciences has two greenhouses available for research/classroom use. These greenhouses are not limited to plants; other studies are welcome. Although heat tolerant species are recommended. The space available is on a first come, first serve basis. When demand is more than space available, the Facilities Committee will decide who has the priorty.

The LSE Greenhouse is located on the roof of the Life Science Tower. It contains six isolation rooms, a headhouse for potting and an autoclave that is suitable for soil sterilization. One of the isolation rooms has been designed for controlling day length.

The LSB Greenhouse is located on the roof of the B wing above Animal Resources.  It primarily houses a collection of plants used for classroom support.
