What is the street address for shippers such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL when shipping a package to ASU?

What time does FedEx pick up outgoing packages?

Please have all outgoing packages to LSE229 by 3:00 pm, (especially if you will need assistance with preparing your package). Fed Ex picks up at 3:30 pm M – F.

What can I do if I miss the SOLS FedEx deadline?

FedEx packages may be dropped at the following locations:

  • FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center, 933 E. University Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281 (Located just East of the corner of Rural and University) Hours: Last Express drop off 5:15 pm, Monday thru Friday and 3:00 pm on Saturday, Last Ground drop off: 6:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, Phone: (480) 894-1797
  • Envelopes and packs only may be dropped at the box located on the Corner of Katy and Tyler Mall, Deadline 5:00 pm
  • 3002 East Old Tower Rd., Phoenix, AZ, 95034, (Near Airport) Deadline 6:45 pm
  • 2405 W. University Dr., Tempe, AZ 85381, Deadline 6:00 pm
  • The main number for FedEx is 1-800-463-3339 if you have any questions

Who handles outgoing US Mail pick up?

Incoming and outgoing US mail is handled by the Faculties Office in LSE216/218. Please see Essie Wilson in LSE218 if you have questions or need assistance.
There is an outdoor US Mailbox located near the northeast corner of the Memorial Union Building which has a final pick up at 12:30 pm Monday thru Friday.

What day does recycling pick up?

Paper recycling is scheduled for Wednesday afternoons. Cans and bottles are picked up once every two weeks.
If you notice a container in need of immediate service, please call Rick Olson @ 5-5087 and he will request a special pick up.

Who do I call for building maintenance and repair issues such as plumbing, electrical, non-functioning elevators, etc...?

For non-emergency repairs during regular business hours please use the following Facilities web form and be sure to include all pertinent information: Facilities Request Form
For emergency repairs during regular business hours, call the Facilities Office @ (480) 727-6004, Linda Zarroli @ (480) 965-0142, Rick Olson @ (480) 965-5087 or Barbara Markley @ (480) 965-3575. For emergencies after hours or during weekends and holidays, please call Facilities Management @ (480) 965-3633.

How do I request office space for my new Grad Student or PostDoc?

Please contact Barbara Markley (480) 965-3575 or the Facilities Office (480) 727-6004 to determine what space is available.

How do I obtain a key/s to an area within the SOLS complex?

Complete the following Life Sciences Key Action Request Form: Life Sciences Key Action Form |PDF|

Fill out top the portion including your 9-digit ID number. Specify building and room number for keys requested. If requesting a key to a laboratory or a special research facility you will need to obtain the PI/Manager's signature. Bring your signed form to Linda Zarroli, LSE 237. Keys may need to be ordered which takes 48 hours.

How do I obtain card access/keys for ISTB1?

Most areas within ISTB1 are card access.

Have the PI/Manager indicate the areas you will need access to and sign the form. Use your 9-digit ID number and also include the badge number from the back of your Sun Card. (Example: 2*12345). Bring the signed form to Linda Zarroli, LSE 237. Keys may need to be ordered which takes 48 hours. An alternate method for card access would be to have the faculty member send an email to Linda.Zarroli@asu.edu stating the areas for which access is requested. Include 9-digit ID number and badge number.

Who handles furniture needs and moves?

Please contact the Facilities Office (480) 727-6004 with your furniture and move needs.

What do I do with old salvage equipment?

Please direct your request to Mike Long (480) 965-0339 or the Facilities Office (480) 727-6004.

What if I need to take my ASU laptop or other equipment off campus?

Please see Rick Olson (480) 965-5087 in LSE229 for an off-campus loan form which remains valid for one year.

Please note: ASU property taken off campus without a valid form on file will not be covered by State Risk if the item is lost, stolen or damaged.

Who do I contact if my ASU property is lost, stolen or damaged?

Please contact the Facilities Office (480) 727-6004 or Barbara Markley (480) 965-3575 to initiate an insurance claim on your ASU vehicle or property.
