Degrees Offered: Plant Biology

Overview

The Plant Biology Graduate Program is a multi-disciplinary program that offers interdisciplinary training at the forefront of plant biology at levels of organization ranging from molecules to communities and landscapes. The program offers Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in a broad range of research areas, from cell and molecular biology, biochemistry and biotechnology, to ecology, floristics, and systematics. Although research training is focused primarily on acquiring basic knowledge, we offer opportunities for exposure to and participation in research with applied goals.

We encourage motivated students to apply for admission to our programs. While most of our students are in the Ph.D. program, we also welcome applications to our Masters program. Please explore the links on this page to learn more about our program. For specific questions, please feel free to contact any member of the Executive Committee at plantbiol@asu.edu.
