Bioimaging Facility houses two core laboratories:
  • EM Laboratory The Electron Microscopy (E.M.) Laboratory is one of two core laboratories that are part of the Life Sciences Bioimaging Facility.
  • WM Keck Bioimaging Laboratory This multi–user laboratory is dedicated to imaging from the macroscopic to the microscopic level. Multiple instruments are housed in the laboratory. A wide a range of microscopes are available, including scanning laser confocal microscopes and atomic force microscopes.

WM Keck Environmental Biogeochemistry Lab The stable isotope lab has been established through collaboration of faculty from the departments of Chemistry, Geological Sciences and the School of Life Sciences (SOLS) at ASU. Construction of the lab officially ended on November 30, 2004 and the first instrument installation started the very next day. From December 2004 to mid March 2005 a Neptune multicollector ICP–MS, X–series ICP–MS, Thermo MAT 253, and Thermo Deltaplus Advantage mass spectrometers were installed here. A wide variety of peripheral devices were installed to support the gasIRMS instruments.
