SOLS Safety Committee The mission of the SOLS Safety Committee is to improve safety awareness and encourage safe practices in the school. The committee will develop and review SOLS safety-related policies and provide relevant information to the faculty, staff and students. It also acts to promote communication with ASU administrative safety organizations (EHS, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, etc.), and advises the executive administration of SOLS on how to ensure that all research and teaching functions are in compliance with federal, state, and university safety guidelines. The Safety Committee is an ad hoc committee, appointed by the SOLS Director, reporting to the SOLS AD for Facilities.
