Business Office:The Business Office processes orders, travel and reimbursements for the School of Life Sciences. Management and assistance is provided on sponsored grants, payroll and budgets.
Collections: Sustained by the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University, the Natural History Collections are comprised of nine collections that directly support the University's teaching, research, and public outreach functions. Our holdings emphasize flora and fauna from the arid southwest of North America, especially Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Collectively, our holdings rank among the largest collections of Sonoran desert biota in the world.
Core Laboratories: An array of laboratories for various research needs.
Design Support: Offering a complete range of services, the School of Life Sciences Visualization Laboratory (Vislab) is a design agency that meets all your creative needs. Our strength lies in the ability to understand and conceptualize our clients' goals by fostering respect and fueling innovation. We are a small team allowing us to stay flexible and personal even as the projects increase in size and range.
IT Support: We support the computing environment in SOLS to further the teaching, research and administrative functions of the School. Our goal is to enable these functions to work at their highest capacity with excellent computer support.
Safety: The School of Life Sciences is dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment for all faculty, staff and students in research and instructional laboratories. Good safety practices goes hand in hand with good research and effective teaching. The Office of the Associate Director for Facilities and the SOLS Safety Committee are here to help you with any questions you may have regarding safety practices in your laboratory or in the conduct of teaching courses.
