Kevin McGraw Awarded the 2005 Outstanding New Investigator Award by the Animal Behavior Society
August 2005. ASU School of Life Sciences researcher, Kevin McGraw, has been awarded the 2005 Outstanding New Investigator Award by the Animal Behavior Society. Dr. McGraw's contributions to the understanding of animal coloration were considered highly original by the Society. His work provides new insights on what is chemically responsible for the colors of birds, and defies previous assumptions and explanations for color variations in parrots.
