Arizona State University will present the Eleventh Annual Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium on Friday, February 6, 2004. All undergraduates conducting research in the life sciences are invited to attend and present a poster. Dr. George Poste, Director of the Arizona Bio Design Institute & Del E. Webb Distinguished Professor of Biology at ASU, will give the keynote speech. Following Dr. Poste's address, students will be at their posters to discuss their projects and answer questions. The poster session highlights the Undergraduate Biology Enrichment Program (UBEP), which is among ASU's efforts to improve undergraduate education. Both the poster symposium and students funded through the Biology Research Experience for Undergraduates (BREU) are sponsored by the School of Life Sciences at ASU.
