This page is designed to keep all Poster Symposium Participants informed of due dates as well as to answer questions regarding the Symposium.

Important Dates to Keep in Mind

Monday, November 17, 2003	Poster Workshop
Poster workshop for first year BREU students. The workshop will take place at 3:40pm-4:30pm in LSE 244.
Tuesday, November 18, 2003	Poster Workshop
Poster workshop for all Poster Symposium participants. The workshop will take place at 3:00pm-4:30pm in LSE 244.
Friday, December 5, 2003	Title & Abstract Forms Due
Completed Title and Abstract Forms are due in the UBEP Office (LSC Rm. 226) by 5:00pm. *Please note- You will need to turn in one file containing your title, authors, and abstract on disk as well as the hard copy version printed on the Title and Abstract Form. The Materials for the Web page lists all acceptable file formats. Title and Abstract Form Instructions page lists step by step directions on how to complete the form. Friday, January 16, 2004	Poster Files Due
If you will be printing your posters at the Visualization Lab, you must turn in your poster materials to the UBEP Office (LSC Rm. 226) by Friday, January 16, 2004. You will need to complete a work order with the account number to which the poster will be charged and signature of the account signer. If you will be using another facility to print your poster, please contact them well in advance to find out their turn-around time. Please note- You will need to turn in one PowerPoint file containing your poster and any special fonts used, on floppy disk, zip disk, or CD. The poster printing procedure through the Visualization Lab is as follows: A small, 8.5" by 11" test print of your poster will be printed. The UBEP Office will contact you to let you know that you need to view your test print. This is your final opportunity to correct any typos, spelling errors, etc. If you need to print out an additional test print (which is necessary when you make major changes after the first test print) or reprint your final poster, you will be responsible for paying for it. Once you have approved the test print, the final version of your poster will be printed. The UBEP Office will contact you when your poster is ready to be picked up. Note:* All posters will be posted on the web page following the symposium. If you do not want your poster to be on the web, please notify Carol Bear in the UBEP Office (LSC Rm. 226).
