Gene Tucker is a Drupal programmer/Designer for VisLab, a design recharge center housed in the School of Life Sciences. He seeks to create invisible, intuitive, and sustainable content management to make technology useful and efficient. Achievement of this is through Usability and User experience.
He is passionate to keep a tool useful and in helping people find the right tool for a job. He utilizes culture, emerging technology, and feedback to meet expectations. Success is driven by use cases, feature management, workflows, Sociology, and by making things simpler but not necessarily simple.
He wants our world work better, easier and to be more user-friendly. Technology today is too hard to use. A cell phone should be as easy to access as a doorknob. In order to humanize the world that uses technology as an infrastructure, we MUST develop technologies in a way that serves people first.
