Maya specializes in spatially explicit inventories of fossil fuel carbon dioxide in the US. Her focus is FFCO2 from onroad transportation and is exploring the effect of urban density and uncertainty of vehicle miles traveled estimates on onroad FFCO2 emissions. 


Maya received her B.S. in Environmental Science in 2012, with minors in geology and geographic information systems. She received her M.A. in Geography in 2014 with a focus on spatially explicit inventories of FFCO2 emissions.
