Publish or perish.  Competition for grant funding.  CRISPR.  Biodiversity loss. Both the daily practice of life sciences and new biological knowledge and technologies raise ethical questions.  In order to address these dynamics, the School of Life Sciences has committed to explicitly and systematically integrate ethics into research, teaching, and outreach.   From this decision come new questions: what form should this commitment take? What should the goals of engaging ethics be?  How can we work towards them?

Join us for a series of conversations at the intersection of biology and society.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP here.
