Compelling storytelling in a visual manner is a passion that fuels Samantha Lloyd’s work in video production. Whether it’s in a lab with students, or filming in remote parts of the world, she will do what it takes to get the perfect shot.

Having a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Lloyd is able to construct stories that can connect with a universal audience. She also received her master’s degree in science policy from ASU, culminating that program with a documentary about environmental issues related to the U.S. and Mexico border.

Lloyd has travelled near and far following researchers in the field and documenting their work in award-winning videos. Other projects include promotional videos, events, news stories and educational content.

A native of Arizona, she is passionate about nature and environmental issues and finding ways to educate people in a fun and interesting way that promotes action.
