28th Annual Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium
All undergraduates conducting research in life sciences are invited to attend and present their research.
The symposium is funded by the School of Life Sciences Undergraduate Research (SOLUR) Program and the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University.
Students may choose to present an elevator pitch or research presentation. Space is limited, not all abstracts will be accepted. Abstracts will be reviewed by committee after the deadline.
Priority consideration abstract deadline: March 5, 2021.
Abstract submissions close: March 12, 2021. Notifications will be sent by March 12th or within a few days of submission, whichever is later.

Presenter information
Submit your abstract information online by March 5, 2020 at 5 p.m.
1. Get approval
Before you submit abstract information, get faculty mentor approval of your:
- Abstract title
- Abstract (200-300 words), click here for the abstract template
- Choose between a 3-min elevator pitch or 8-min research presention.
2. Gather this information
- Your name, school/department, ASU email and program (if applicable)
- Faculty mentor name and email address
- Title of your presentation
- 2-3 sentence bio + description of your presentation
- Abstract (to be uploaded as a PDF)
4. Submit your abstract information
Use the online form to submit your abstract information. For priority consideration, submit by March 5, 2021. Abstract submissions close on March, 12, 2021.
Students will be notified of their status by March 12, 2021 or within a few days of submission (whichever is later).
Note: Presentations will be given via Zoom. Students will be expected to know how to share their screen/PowerPoint in Zoom and navigate the technology beforehand.
All abstracts will be posted on the School of Life Sciences website unless otherwise indicated. Changes to presentation information received after the due date may not be reflected on the school website.
