Specifically, you are invited to participate in the BioBridge program, a free, 11-day program designed to give you a headstart on your college career
About the program
We aim to reduce the stress of transitioning from high school to college by giving you a headstart on forming new friendships and preparing for your success. This program is lively, engaging and thought-provoking. You will come away feeling ready to start college at the ASU School of Life Sciences!
Key details:
- The program is free
- You will receive 3 elective credits
- BioBridge 2025 runs Wednesday, August 5th to Saturday, August 15 (excluding Sunday, August 9 and Thursday, August 13)
- Schedule: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
- Application deadline: July 15
- Attend classes and workshops facilitated by faculty members and student mentors
- Students signed up to live in residence halls will be able to move in early (more information will be provided closer to the start of the program)
- We will meet a few times during fall semester, including a trip to Phoenix Zoo and a career panel, to catch up how everyone is settling into college life!

Our summer program will help you
- Get to know classmates to start building friendships before the semester begins
- Learn your way around ASU’s Tempe campus, so it already feels familiar on day one
- Gain experience working with live organisms as you learn core research techniques
- Tour some of the exciting research labs at ASU and chat with their lab members
- Discuss major questions in the field of life sciences today
- Learn how you can get involved in research early and what opportunities are available to you at ASU
- Practice what college classes are really like and learn how to participate with confidence
- Build practical strategies and habits that help you succeed in college level courses
- Connect with many faculty and staff who are invested in your success
- Explore the many career paths that a life sciences degree can open up
- Have fun while doing all of the above!
