As a graduate student at ASU, you have several resources available to you, including financial assistance and community resources that help you achieve your academic goals while maintaining your health and well-being.
SOLS Graduate Student Crisis Fund
The School of Life Sciences Graduate Student Crisis Fund was established to assist SOLS graduate students who encounter critical financial situations during the academic year. Faculty, staff, families and mentors of SOLS graduate students across the nations make generous contributions that fund these grants.
In order to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled full-time
- In good academic standing with good academic progress
- Have exhausted all financial aid options available
- Pursuing MS or PhD program
- Have a FAFSA on file
Some examples (but not all) of critical needs:
- Shelter
- Food
- Clothing
- Medical care
Events not covered by the Graduate Student Crisis Fund:
- Chronic debt or sustained financial shortfalls
- Legal fees or fines
- Tuition or book fees
- Transportation
- Stolen or damaged property
- Technology (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.)
If you meet the criteria, please click the button below to complete an application. Please note that the amount of funds available to distribute can vary and is limited. There is no guarantee your request will be funded or funded in full per your request.
